Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Faculty and staff from across the District participated in Youth Mental Health First Aid training on July 22. WASD is fortunate to have 4 in-house trainers thanks to a partnership with Penn State Health’s PRO Wellness team. Utilizing a grant from the PA Department of Health, WASD will continue to work with the Penn State Health's PRO Wellness team to implement a Berks County suicide prevention program. Over the next few years, many of our staff members will be trained in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
