Board Goals

2020-2021

Goal 1 – Organizational Leadership

Continue to work with the Superintendent and his administrative team to provide a robust educational program and a supportive school environment that promotes optimal learning for all student’s grades K – 12.

  • Review Superintendent Goals and discuss biannually to evaluate progress toward achieving those goals.

 Goal 2 – Covid 19

Board members will work with the Superintendent and his administrative team to promote the safety and well-being for all students and staff amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. 

  • Board members will stay up to date on Covid-19 facts as supplied by the PA Dept. of Education and the PA Dept. of Health.
  • Board members will support the Administrative Team, as needed, to ensure our students and our staff receive the most up-to-date protective measures as set forth by PDE and DOH.
  • Enhance District communication plan to provide students, parents and teachers with up-to-date information on the COVID pandemic.

Goal 3 – School Climate

Coordinate and foster a school environment that feels inclusive to all students and families, regardless of race, gender or ethnicity. Implement District Equity Taskforce including social and emotional learning with the goal of developing an Equity Action Plan by June 30, 2021.

Goal 4 – Financial Planning

The Board will continue to work with the Business Manager and the Superintendent to preserve long-term financial stability for our District.
