Teaching and Learning
The Department of Teaching and Learning is responsible for providing district-level leadership and vision of programs and initiatives pertaining to curriculum, instruction, assessments, professional development, and English language development.
GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
WASD provides support for all programs based on the district's mission, strategic plan, and Pennsylvania Core Academic Standards. The department promotes challenging learning expectations for all students and works collaboratively with the Information Technology Department to integrate technology into the classroom.
