Robert Scoboria

The Wyomissing Area School District is pleased to announce that the Board of School Directors has appointed Robert L. Scoboria as our Superintendent of Schools. Mr. Scoboria was selected following a thorough search process completed with support provided by the Pennsylvania School Boards Association.

Mr. Scoboria has served as the Assistant Superintendent of the Boyertown Area School District since 2005. In this position, Mr. Scoboria has provided leadership and support for ten school principals, pupil services & special education programs, facilities, transportation, District communications and special functions including two construction projects. Scott Painter, Esq., School Board President, shares “Mr. Scoboria has demonstrated a focus on improving opportunities for students while working collaboratively with students, staff, parents and community members. We are proud to have Mr. Scoboria join the Wyomissing Area School District and know his leadership will allow us to grow and continue to provide excellent programs and services for our students.” Mr. Scoboria completed his master’s degree in Education at Millersville University, his bachelor’s degree at the Pennsylvania State University and completed his superintendent’s certification through Arcadia University. Prior to his current position, Mr. Scoboria served as a director of pupil services, special education director, and learning support teacher. Mr. Scoboria resides in Exeter Township with his wife, Marybeth, and their three children.
