New Teachers

Please join us in welcoming the following staff members to the Wyomissing Area School District. At West Reading Elementary Center we welcome: 

Ms. Carrie Benkert is a new part-time music teacher. She received her Bachelor of Science in Music Education and her Orff Certification, Levels I-III, from West Chester University. She was previously employed by the School District of Lancaster.

Ms. Katherine Bosch is a long-term substitute in third grade. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Elon University. Ms. Bosch was previously employed by the Hempfield and Downingtown Area School Districts.

Ms. Rachael Didden joins us a fourth-grade teacher. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Lancaster Bible College. She was previously employed by the Wilson School District.

Ms. Dana DiDonato is a floater teacher. She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a Minor in Special Education from Penn State University and a Master of Education from Cabrini College. She was previously employed by the Pottstown School District.

Ms. Kristin Hartman is a long-term substitute in first grade. She received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Bachelor of Arts in Music from Lebanon Valley College. She was previously employed by the Hamburg Area School District.

Ms. Alexandrea Koehler is a long-term substitute in third grade. She received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Millersville University. She was previously employed by the Wilson School District.

Ms. Gretchen Rahauser is a fourth-grade teacher.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with a minor in STEM from Millersville University. Ms. Rahauser was previously employed by the Owen J. Roberts School District.

At Wyomissing Area JSHS we welcome:

Mr. David Outland, a Health & Physical Education Teacher. He received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Temple University and his Master’s in Education Development and Strategies from Wilkes University. Mr. Outland was previously employed at Conestoga Valley School District, has coached several sports, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Ms. Emily Emerson, a Special Education Teacher. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and Elementary Education from Albright College, a Master’s in Special Education from Albright College, and a Master’s in Autism Spectrum Disorder from Grand Canyon University. Ms. Emerson was previously employed by the Spring-Ford School District.
