Spartan Musicians Travel To Disney World

From March 13-17, Senior High Music students in Band, Chorus, and Orchestra traveled to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. They enjoyed time in the parks together and participated in educational workshops with Disney Teaching Artists. Students learned songs from chosen Disney movie soundtracks, sightreading, rehearsing, and recording the selections. Throughout the sessions students learned about the recording process, what it’s like to be a professional musician, and how to get started along that career path. At the end of the sessions, students had the chance to watch scenes from the chosen movies with their recordings as the soundtrack to the animation. It was a truly magical experience for students in our ensembles to share!
